The YSLI is held at Camp Pocahontas, a small camp constructed in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps. Deep in the heart of the Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia, this secluded campground has been the site of National Youth Science Foundation programs for more than 40 years. The familiar trappings of modern life- fast food, traffic, even radio and televison- cannot intrude on the peaceful setting. Free from these distractions, delegates gain many opportunities to explore new fields of interest and interact with our distinguished guests.
