Academic Program
The Institute academic program centers around two presentation formats -- lectures, in which a presenter speaks to the assembled delegates for roughly an hour, and directed studies, in which a presenter and a small group of delegates spend several days in a hands-on project. Presenters come from a wide range of disciplines, including mathematics, computers, chemistry, ecology, astronomy, and marine biology.
